REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

All U.S. citizens flying to Mexico must present a valid passport to enter the country when you arrive at Torreón International Airport.

US Passport Cards Not Valid for Air Travel: If you are a holder of a U.S. Passport Card, please note that this is NOT valid for air travel to Mexico. Passport Cards can only be used to cross the border between the United States and Mexico by land or sea ports. A passport is required for air travel to and from the United States. In the airport, U.S. citizens fill out the FMM immigration form. Mexican immigration retains the larger portion, and the traveler is given the smaller right-hand portion. It is extremely important to safeguard this form. Prior to exiting the country at a Mexican immigration check point, visitors are required to turn in their FMM.

RECOMMENDED ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE DATES

The patient is advised to arrive at least one day prior the surgery scheduled day to perform all pre-op tests. Please submit your travel details to us as soon as you book your flight.

Please be informed that the return date is an approximate date based on your medical readiness to return home. If, for whatever reason, the physician considers you must stay and be monitored longer than arranged, we strongly advise to purchase an open/no restrictions airplane ticket and travel insurance to cover for this.
